Madison Kew

Maddy holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, completed at Charles Sturt University in Albury, graduating in 2021. Maddy has a special interest in treating persistent spinal pain which developed in her graduate year treating chronic lower back injuries in a private practice setting.

Maddy gained most of her experience treating the spine when she commenced at Advanced Healthcare in 2024, where she follows The Specific Treatment of Problems of the Spine (STOPS) protocol for subacute and chronic low back pain. In addition, she has also recently completed training as a treating physiotherapist in a randomised control trial investigating lumbar motor control.

Her primary focus of treatment involves improving spinal pain through normalising movement, specific muscle activation, and posture. In her spare time, you will find her by the beach with her border collie or looking for the best place in Melbourne for a quality matcha!
