Carmel Bohan

Carmel is an Upper Limb Physiotherapist who concentrated her practise to the Upper Limb in the year 2000. Prior to this she worked in the area of general musculo-skeletal Physiotherapy following her graduation from her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1987.

Through her work, Carmel has accumulated considerable experience in the management of hand and upper limb conditions.  She continues to work closely with specialised Upper Limb Surgeons to further extend her knowledge and application to her Physiotherapy Practice. Carmel has lectured extensively on this topic for the last 20 years, teaching at State and National Level Courses and Conferences. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience and she continues to mentor select junior physiotherapy colleagues in Hand Therapy.

Carmel is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and an Accredited Hand Therapist, as awarded by The Australian Hand Therapy Association. Her greatest professional reward is the satisfaction received from her clients’ positive outcomes to treatment.
